Our Team

Phil Hitchman (Director)
Phil has worked in IT since 1978 and has been working in Internet and computer-related roles since 1992.  Phil is experienced in computer programming, analysis, design, testing, leading and project management. Phil spent 15 years with Cap Gemini (formally Hoskyns) in a variety of roles. He can demonstrate a proven track record in project management using formal methodologies to ISO9000 (Perform/Prince II).

Clients include Glaxo SmithKline, one2one (T-Mobile), M&G Finance/Cofunds, the European Commission (Internet joint research centres Belgium and Italy), British Gas, United Gas, Barclays Registration, Heinz, Southend Borough and Rochford District Councils, The Medicines Control Agency, Lonza (Switzerland), Hoechst (Germany) and the UK's Joint Academic Network (JANET). Phil formed Hitchman IT Solutions Ltd. at the end of 2001

Ian Hitchman (Director/Web designer/developer)
Ian has been designing and building commercial websites since 1999.  He is fully qualified in Web Design and e-commerce technologies. Ian holds a BSc Honours degree in Multimedia Computing and is an accomplished digital artist, with skill areas in many industry-standard software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash and Kinetix 3D Studio Max.

Caroline Adcock (SEO Consultant and Technical Administrator)
Caroline has been working as a, e-marketing and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) specialist since February 2006. Caroline has a background in the retail/marketing sector and has been fully trained in Internet marketing techniques.

Phil Buckthorpe (Web designer/developer and graphics designer)
An extremely experienced designer/developer, Phil has 8 years in web design having originally worked in design-for-print for many years previously. Before joining Hitchman IT Solutions in 2003 Phil worked for Fuse communications and design who specialise in branding/logos, corporate identity and web design.

David Goody (Trainer)
Having worked in the computer industry for 20 years, David has experienced all levels of IT work, from Operator through to Project Manager. With particular emphasis on training, mentoring and presenting, David has worked in the Financial, Industrial and Medical sectors, and now brings his experience and enthusiasm to the Hitchman team as a freelance trainer.

Dean Baxter (Web developer/ E-Marketing/SEO Consultant and Trainer)
Dean Baxter specialises in web design/development and search engine optimisation.  Dean works on a freelance basis for Hitchman IT and also builds websites for his own customers at IT Buddy.
